Buffalo EV Charging Stations

When you own a Cadillac EV like a new Lyriq or the Escalade IQ, you’ll need public charging stations around Buffalo to make sure you can get around town when you’re not near your garage in Orchard Park. HSBC Center

There is a Level 2 station at the parking garage for the HSBC Center in downtown Buffalo on Seneca Street. Part of the EV Connect network, you can use this station at any time with 24-hour access. Even better, it’s out of the elements if you need to charge during the winter months.

799 Seneca Street Station

Behind the row of eclectic shops and apartments in the 700 and 800 block of Seneca Street is a handful of EV charging stations attached to the parking garage. There are at least a dozen Level 2 chargers there. Nearby Exchange Street also has some charging stations for Larkinville residents. 

Main Place Mall

In downtown, there are three public charging stations near Main Place Mall. They are all located in parking garages, there’s the parking garage for the mall itself, and two across the street for the courthouse/government buildings.

How to Find EV Charging Stations

Google Maps outlines where many of these public charging stations are located. You can also use apps associated with specific charging networks, like ChargePoint or EV Go. There’s also the federal government portal that’s updated every month. You can find charging stations in East Aurora, West Seneca, and beyond whenever you need a boost away from home. 

One thing to note is that costs will vary. If you charge at peak times, during the day, it may cost you more versus charging at night. The average cost is 30 to 40 cents per kWh. But these prices are still more cost-effective than a gallon of gasoline.
