More Details About the New York EV Rebate

There are a few stipulations surrounding the maximum $2,000 rebate from New York. Your amount depends on the electric range of the vehicle and the price of the model.

See these stipulations here:

• Range greater than 200 miles between charges: $2,000 rebate
• Range from 40 to 199 miles between charges: $1,000 rebate
• Range of less than 40 miles: $500 rebate
• Electric cars with an MSRP of less than $42,000: $500 rebate

So, in order to get the maximum amount of the New York EV incentives, you’ll need to purchase an EV with a range of 200 miles or greater with an MSRP of more than $42,000.
